UK Gov's #SpringStatement will see Scottish Government receive £300m in Barnett consequentials. We were disappointed Scottish Government budget for 24/25 didn't include cash for increasing the Scottish Child Payment to £30. But these consequentials could fully fund the increase. A thread 🧵👇(1/4)

Good that FM Humza Yousaf today reaffirmed Scottish Government commitment to reducing child poverty. New modelling shows the impact of this ongoing commitment: child poverty is predicted to fall to 16% in 2023/24. If the modelling bears out, our interim child poverty targets could be met🧵
