We may have not been running trains for 3 months, but we've been busy repairing the track and building a new shelter at Wallingford. We're always after new volunteers to help!

Construction of a pitched roof on the columns in the garden area has commenced, this will resemble a GWR style canopy when finished.
The beams are going up In February, with trusses being delivered and completion during March.

On Sunday 18th May 1975, the Oxford University Railway Society ran the “Branch Line” Tour from Oxford to Reading. Here is the tour pictured at Wallingford. Were you on this train?

The site looks quite different now. Would be nice to see a bubblecar on the line again.

Although we aren't running trains until Easter, the 'closed' season is one of the busiest on the railway! A new ramp is being built at Wallingford to improves accessibility and the Sentinel is receiving some well deserved TLC, after her starring role hauling the 'Santa Express'
