This is a great example of how Caltech facilitates research, as faculty and students have many opportunities for rich multidisciplinary collaboration. #ClimateAction requires multidisciplinary team science. The CZI project is a large part of my research group's current work.

The Critical Zone Initiative is a unique multidisciplinary collaboration Caltech linking climate modeling, hydrology, geology, microbiology, and social science. It's a three-year project supported by Resnick Sustainability Institute at Caltech.
