Last week, an image created by artificial intelligence was wrongly used to represent an Indigenous individual on the Canada in the Arctic account. GAC acknowledges this error and apologizes to the Indigenous Peoples who were misrepresented in this image.

Canada is maintaining a strong focus on Arctic peoples and communities, taking continued action on climate change, and increasing the world’s understanding of the Arctic.

The Arctic states are committed to sustainable economic and social development, improved health conditions and cultural wellbeing.
