The CervicalCheck Programme Report 2020–2022 shows the positive impact of the change to primary HPV cervical screening. 526,816 screened during a busy COVID-19 period, in line with the previous 2 years. Excellent work done by National Screening Service & all those involved in the screening process.

Over 2,500 people are diagnosed with bowel cancer in Ireland every year. April is Bowel Cancer Awareness Month and I encourage everyone aged 59-69 to sign up and do the BowelScreen test. The BowelScreen test can help prevent cancer from developing. www2.hse.ie/conditions/bow…
