“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted;
and those who are crushed in spirit he saves. 
Many are the troubles of the just,
but out of them all the Lord delivers them” (Ps 34).

Mother of Mercy, we cry to you conscious of all the ways we have failed to carry out the mission given to us by your Son. Inspire us to be His faithful disciples. Help us to get up and begin again when we stumble and fall.

“For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come toward the light, so that his works might not be exposed. But whoever lives the truth comes to the light, so that his works may be clearly seen as done in God” (Jn 3:20–21). Let us live the truth always.

Holy Mary, with great rejoicing we continue our celebration of your Son’s resurrection. Pray that we remain faithful to him in our words and our actions.

“The community of believers was of one heart and mind, and no one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they had everything in common” (Acts 4:32). Lord, help us to be generous stewards of all your gifts to us.

Mary Most Holy, you inspire us to give witness to your Son. May we always be willing to stand up and declare our faith in Him.

“The angel Gabriel was sent from God to a town of Galilee called Nazareth to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the house of David, and the virgin’s name was Mary” (Lk 1:26). Today we celebrate the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord. Let us rejoice & be glad!

Mother of Perpetual Help, we come to you when we are in trouble. Encourage us when we are without hope. Strengthen us in faith and love, and show us the way to your Son, Jesus.

“God did not spare his own Son but handed him over for us all; with him, he has given us all things” (Rom 8:32). God is generous and merciful. He sacrificed his own Son so that we would be set free from the power of death.

Blessed Mary, your Son is the light that has risen in our world’s darkness. You reflect that light in your love for us. Help us to brighten the darkness in our world by being the light of Christ for our sisters and brothers everywhere.

“When Jesus had risen, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene. She went and told his companions who were mourning and weeping. When they heard that he was alive and had been seen by her, they did not believe” (Mk 16:9–15). Strengthen our faith, O Lord.

Mary of Nazareth, you were the first Christian disciple. Inspire us to repent, believe in the Gospel and follow your risen Son in all things.

Christ the cornerstone has risen. Alleluia!

Mary, Mother of the Church, inspire us to seek peace with justice for all your children regardless of their race, nationality, religion, social or economic status. Help us to be peacemakers in our homes, in our communities, and among all nations.

“Thus it is written that the Christ would suffer and rise from the dead on the third day and that repentance, for the forgiveness of sins, would be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem” (cf. Lk 24:35–48). Christ is risen. Alleluia!

With you, Mary, our souls rejoice in God who saves us (cf. Lk 1:49). May we demonstrate our love for Him by showing respect for all our brothers and sisters and by caring for our common home.

“The Lord has truly been raised and has appeared to Simon!”
Like the two disciples on the road to Emmaus, we are invited to encounter him in the breaking of the bread! (cf. Lk 24:13–35).

Mother of Mercy, show us how to be faithful to your Son’s teaching by loving our enemies and praying for those who persecute us (cf. Mt 5:43–48).

“Let the whole house of Israel know for certain that God has made him both Lord and Christ” (Acts 2:36). Peter proclaims the Good News that Jesus is Lord. Alleluia!
