At the heart of the exciting plans for Altrincham's Stamford Quarter is to reshape the high street by blending retail, leisure, commercial and residential space so more people will visit the town centre, helping to support the long-term, sustainable growth of the local economy.

So much travel infrastructure has been built in Gorse Hill over the last few years. New walking wheeling and cycling routes, Bee Network rental bike hubs, Bee Network £2 buses, match day shuttle busses and the Trafford Park metro link line. So much to celebrate!

1.🏊Under Trafford Labour - millions have been invested in our leisure centres. Drawing on inspiration from the previously redeveloped and highly successful Move Urmston, we've worked with key partners to start creating more modern and fit for purpose facilities.

2. 🏫Under Trafford Labour – schools continue to thrive. We've worked hard to expand our schools, adding 4,000 extra places with plans for more. We've also continued to support every school, to maintain outstanding school results.

7. ⚡Under Trafford Labour - hundreds of EV charging points have been installed. Trafford are leading the way in Greater Manchester. Residents and visitors can access the network; taxis can decarbonise and by accessing our EV infrastructure and we can electrify Council fleets.
