found it. this is one of the coolest books you will ever read bc it gets at how radically different the aztec and spanish ways of seeing were in away ive never encountered before. come for the illumination of difference stay for the unbelievable descriptions of tenochtitlan.

I love the Japanese concept yutori, which refers to having enough time & peace of mind to enjoy life without being constantly under pressure. I think this is something that we have to craft out in our lives, to make it a sacred practice.
