Today, the ACHP unanimously adopted a groundbreaking policy valuing & recognizing Indigenous Knowledge. My heartfelt thanks to Chairman Reno Franklin & Ira Matt for their exceptional leadership in initiating & developing this policy - the 4th adopted during my tenure as Chair.

The federal preservation agency’s next business meeting is on Thursday. On the agenda, among other things, is a vote on our Indigenous Knowledge Policy Statement.
