The U.S. Department of Defense will be conducting training in the City of Chattanooga and Hamilton County beginning Monday, April 15th through Saturday, April 20th. This training is a routine event.

Students from Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy visited our drone unit recently!

The unit's 14 drones assist with various tasks, from tactical deployments that save an officer from being put in harm's way to high-altitude overwatch for large-scale events.

Yesterday, Chattanooga Police arrested 32-year-old Andre Johnson in connection with the homicide of Cedric Dickens that occurred on March 26, 2024 in the 2500 block of Vine Street.

This morning at 12:47 a.m., CPD officers apprehended two juveniles attempting to break into vehicles. One was armed with a loaded handgun and wearing bullet resistant body armour.
