a PLASTIC SURGEON told a patient of mine to lose 20 more lbs before abdominoplasty offered after they had lost 110 lbs (44% body weight) & had kept it off 10 yrs. They felt defeated. The ignorance, bias, & discrimination toward those that live with weight in medicine is horrific.
