We recently received an enquiry asking about an orphaned girl in 1911. Her daughter was asking about the Chislehurst orphanage where she was looked after. It’s long gone now - replaced by Sainsbury’s.

New signs have gone up warning motorists to slow down around our ponds following the recent spate of ducks and geese killed by speeding vehicles on Ashfield Lane and Heathfield Lane.
