Great to welcome local Year 8 schoolchildren to Hyde Park & Kensington Gardens today for their final Green Futures conservation day.

Today they’ve been helping us monitor the plants & animals that call The Royal Parks home, creating new habitats & working with Operation Centaur 🌺 🐛 🐎

It's !

Our ecologists surveyed the hay meadows at Chimney Meadows with volunteers and trainees, and have confirmed they're looking spectacular - alive with insects and flowers. 🌼🦋🐝

The common knapweed is in full bloom, adding a purple haze to the view.

It was great to be able to highlight the work of The Royal Parks during the Great Exhibition Road Festival last weekend.

Alek and Charlie from our learning team can be seen with groups trying different 'bird beaks' to find bugs in a paddling pool and pressing flowers with mallets.
