Heading into the weekend, we've got some cooler air in place, especially Sunday with clouds and some scattered rain showers.

Today we'll have a big temperature gradient from the coast to inland spots. Plus, more clouds east complicate matters towards Plymouth County and the Cape and islands.

Our best chance for cooler weather and spotty showers is early Tuesday, and again Tuesday night into early Wednesday. Neither packs much of a punch in southern New England with around a quarter-inch of rain possible.
