Water Outage: 13th from Van Raalte to Washington + Washington from 11th to 13th
We are doing emergency maintenance on a water valve near 13th/Washington so there is a water outage is in that area. We expect the repair to be completed & water service restored later this afternoon.

Crews are on scene of a fire at 1145 Washington Ave, Midnight Sun Tanning. At this time the fire appears to be out. No injuries reported at this time.

When it's 5 degrees and snowing for days, there's not much else you can do but scrape all your windows, dress warmly, take your time, and leave extra room in front of your vehicle. And check MDOT's traffic map and highway cameras before you go: michigan.gov/drive

The department was dispatched to a structure fire at 340 W 40th, Addington Place of Lakeside Vista. Fire was in the kitchen and quickly extinguished. Smoke did spread throughout living area of building 1. 30 residents were temporarily displaced while smoke removed. No injuries.
