Been called a farrightnazibigottransphobe by many ‘kind’ people(some who were my friends) in Belfast. My job has been compromised by the McCarthyism that is inherent in trans activism. I can’t believe I’m going to tribunal over these tyrants who bullied me & got it so SO wrong.

'If I told you all what to think, say and do then I wouldn’t be an artist, I’d be a regime propagandist like Billy Bragg.' 😂😂😂 Brilliant! And bang on!

I went for a drink with Ruth Hunt just before she was appointed as CEO of Stonewall. She assured me, emphatically, that she was not going to include trans issues with the LGB. What was the first thing she did? Met with the worst, most misogynistic, hardline, transactivists to do…

5/So, please, stop lying. Stonewall under your tenure, and as a result of the actions that you took, turned into a shameless, vicious and dangerous organisation. This is your legacy, Ruth.

4/Ruth, I watched you in the House of Lords recently as you talked about how hard it was coming out, the battles you had to fight. I too had to fight those battles, a decade earlier. I also had to fight to become a barrister. None of that mattered to your organisation though.

3/ Whether Stonewall's actions in soliciting my removal from chambers was unlawful under the EqA 2010 is the subject of appeal to the Employment Appeal Tribunal. That Stonewall sent this letter to my chambers is not in dispute. All because I disagreed that TWAW literally.

2/Well, Ruth, I did disagree and Stonewall *did something terrible to me.* On 21 October 2019, Stonewall wrote to my chambers (a few months after you stepped down as CEO) demanding that I be sacked, shamelessly leveraging Stonewall's influence to do so. allisonbailey.co.uk/wp-content/upl…

1/ According to Ruth Hunt CEO of Stonewall until 2019, “It’s perfectly legitimate for Stonewall to advocate that position [that transwomen are women]. It doesn’t say ‘trans women are women’ and if you disagree, *we’re going to do something terrible to you*”

I feel the same Helen. I cannot & will not let this outrageous attempt to rewrite history go unchallenged. I expect a statement or an urgent question about in Parliament next week & I will bring up the need for a proper inquiry into Stonewall et al.

It cannot be right that someone who actively tried to suppress opposition to the transing of children, and suppressed information in schools about the medicalising of gender non-conforming children, is serving in the legislature as a life peer.

Suddenly the public spirited look and feel of the 'Brutalist' South Bank, which I have loved for so many years and was a refuge for me in the 1980s, new to London, and chronically shy, looks more Brutal than public. Anything but welcoming. What a sorry state we're in.

Bentham’s panopticon prison design, most notable at HMP Stangeways, promotes prisoners’ self-policing - one always feels watched whether one is or not & adjusts behaviour accordingly. Here we see the National Theatre pursuing the same strategy on audiences telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/04/1…

This seems to have hit a nerve so can we also talk about how trans men (F) remove breasts and are often depicted naked with scars, but trans women (M) unlikely to have surgery and always shown clothes on, no scars.
It's almost as if you can't identify out of being objectified.

Now can we talk about why kids with gender issues are overwhelmingly teen girls yet the trans activists are overwhelmingly middle aged trans identifying males, & how curious it is that these 2 groups are lumped together under the 'trans umbrella' yet have nothing in common 1/2

Remember those authors who signed a letter stating puberty blockers were harmless?
Recall the mid-grade book which recently won shedloads of industry awards telling kids that puberty blockers were a viable option to stop you going through the 'wrong puberty'?
I do.

LBC Ben Kentish Gee - where did the toxicity come from? It’s a mystery.

Women said “Female only spaces & services are important to us - particularly to girls & vulnerable women - & we don’t think children should be unnecessarily medicalised.”

The TRA replies…

Sonia Sodha LBC Ben Kentish Like Thalidomide.

In the UK, the drug was licensed in 1958 and withdrawn in 1961. Of the approximately 2,000 babies born with defects, around half died within a few months and 466 survived to at least 2010.

It was a huge scandals (rightly), no matter how many were impacted.
