We had a wonderful walk along Leeds’s High Walk as part of the City Plans visits today. Fabulous asset for the city!

We're delighted to share that Leeds will be hosting the Knife Angel in February.

The 27ft tall sculpture, made out of over 100,000 confiscated blades, will be housed outside the Royal Armouries from Thursday 1 to Thursday 29 February.

We’re so proud of Jaxon and Josh for their outstanding speeches at tonight’s Leeds Children’s Mayor finals. They did our community proud.

We’ll work with them on implementing their manifestos to tackle poverty and improve accessibility for young people with disabilities.

🚮 🚌 Today we litter picked our way along the 508 bus route to raise awareness about the buses’ rerouting and to urge First Bus to think again.

This bus service is used by so many residents across our community and it’s important that it isn’t diverted away.

On 2nd April, Kevin Ritchie Caroline Gruen and I are walking the route of the 508 bus which has been rerouted by First Bus.

We’re raising funds for Bramley Care Bears which provides vital services for our community.

Yesterday saw our new Student Leadership Team launched virtually by Caroline Gruen. It was a brilliant meeting attended by all Student Leaders including our newly appointed Head Boy, Charlie, and Head Girl, Morgan! We look forward to working with the team throughout this year.

Started a new job this week 🤯 & am mindful that keeping my #mentalhealth in check is going to be an on-going project. Once you have recovered from a bad spell, it's so important to remain proactive. So today, I made myself go out at lunchtime ✅ & phoned a friend tonight ✅
