A day in the life of P1. We’re linking our daily routines to times of the day. Reading the time is our next goal!

Lots of fun games at our Big Noise lesson today including the ball passing game called Moses supposes his toeses are roses ... A class favourite.

Today P7 Clovenstone Primary School learned how to adapt a piece of music using the drummer option on Garageband. They also added different loops to achieve a different beat + tempo. P2/3 Clovenstone Primary School had a great time this afternoon with Big Noise Sistema Scotland as they were introduced to the viola. Pupils, listened well and could remember the instructions when it was their turn to play for us. Carolyn Kane

Today P3 started drawing club! We watched Not Now Bernard. Then we designed our own monster who would eat mum and dad. Lots of creativity and imagination coming to life this morning 👾 Clovenstone Primary School Can I Go And Play Now?

This week, P3 has been working hard within our literacy. We have been working on sentence building, correcting mistakes, and identifying spelling patterns within our reading books. Clovenstone Primary School

A great P.E session today...lots of team work and skills development. Also finished off with a new game thanks to Mrs Climie called the maze.

Due to popular demand: Spiders today. How they detect vibrations (our word of the day) on their webs, how we can make our own webs and discussing why spiders are so important!

P7 had an amazing time living a day in the life of a student at Edinburgh University. We learned so many interesting things about psychology and archeology! Did you know that archeology doesn’t actually involve dinosaurs 🦖? Thank you for having us, Neil and Widening Participation Team

Primary 7 really enjoyed our Climate Ready Classroom workshops yesterday with Keep Scotland Beautiful. Here is our ‘Planet Earth’ with the different layers of greenhouse gases; us working hard on our Web of Life activity; and our action plan. Thank you for having us 🌍

Primary 4 had a very busy and exciting day at the Museum; saw lots and learned lots. Can't wait to discuss it all in more detail tomorrow.

P3 have been expanding their knowledge of fractions by finding a quarter of an amount.

We’ve had a vet, a doctor’s surgery, a police station and an optician in p1 in recent weeks. Today we talked about other jobs and then drew and wrote what we’d like to be when we’re older.
