XR and other climate change activists demonstrated against EACOP yesterday. The action was in front of Chaucer in Central London.

This contains brilliant work by Coal Action Network and I know local Wales Green Party members have been active in campaigning against this project.

The local community doesn’t want this and it goes against Welsh Government’s own policy.

We have already seen from Ffos-y-fran that 1/3

This morning we gave oral evidence alongside Friends of the Earth Cymru to the Welsh Parliament climate change committee on Ffos-y-fran & the systemic failure to #restore opencast sites through Wales. Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council refused to appear before the Committee... what are they hiding??👀

Fantastic news that the High Court has decided against imprisoning this peaceful protester who held a placard stating that it is a jury's right to acquit according to their conscience. 🎉

📢Ahead of the EU Elections, together with other 7 NGOs, we urge EU policymakers to prioritize sustainability in insurance rules.

👉Insurers must assess risks from harmful activities to better protect our planet & its people.
