It is with great sorrow that the Council has learnt of the passing of Ms. Zebib Kavuma that occurred on 19/4/24. Ms. Kavuma had a deep passion for championing the rights of women and girls, evident in her commitment to supporting mainstreaming gender equality in the Counties.

Today the Head of Public Service convened the Whole of Nation Approach Committee meeting for discussions on the industrial action in the health sector. The Committee will once again reconvene on tomorrow to finalize the negotiations.
