2019 as deadline for Navi Mumbai airport was announced without even completing land acquisition for the project.

Same happened for Metro3

So don't blame those trying to #SaveAarey for the delay. Its not them!

Yes there is cost escalation but again the #carshed delay is not the major reason.

The bigger reasons are inaccurate estimates, unique challenges of the project, forex components and even change in GST rate.

These reasons are again expected in a massive project like this.

1. Yes the project has been delayed but its not only due to carshed issue. Carshed delay has a much smaller role than other issues in construction of such a complicated project. Carshed is actually the simpler part.
