#ThrowbackThursday When members of the West Midlands group of Covid-19 Bereaved Families for Justice UK (including our volunteer Lynn Jones MBE) met for the first time at our beautiful wall. ❤️

Mum's photo was on display in two very important places. Yesterday on The National Covid Memorial Wall and Saturday 23rd on the Hope sign at the Memory Stones of Love Gala Ball. Both projects play vital roles to ensure our loved ones are remembered ❤️💛

A beautiful, well-attended day at the memorial wall, commemorating the third anniversary of the first heart being painted there. We will never forget our beloved lost. #MakeTheWallPermanent #WalkTheWall ❤️

The wall is heart-wrenching at the best of times.

At our Good Friday anniversary event, we will be placing a bouquet of red tulips at each panel during our Walk of Memories (2.00-3.00), and casting the red carnations, in memory of our loved ones, into the Thames afterwards. #WalkTheWall #MakeTheWallPermanent

One of our volunteers has sacrificed her bathtub for the sake of the beautiful flowers we're having at our anniversary event tomorrow, 12.00-4.00 at the wall. ❤️🥀

The Covid memorial wall, absolutely heartbreaking 💔

Today I walked back to the tube and made a detour to the Covid Memorial Wall.

I can’t quite tell you how terribly poignant it is. Or how long, it’s a really massive monument and the volunteers are wonderful at keeping the hearts bright.

This is so brilliant Evan Green - huge congratulations! We’re really looking forward to listening!

There is no chance of the volunteers at the wall going hungry - today’s haul on a rainy Friday was courtesy of resident baker Michelle Rumball and lovely visitor Gail, who came to write a dedication in a heart for her husband 💔

Volunteer Lorelei King❤ was pleased to welcome MP for Birmingham Paulette Hamilton MP to the wall this morning. They were later joined by MP Afzal Khan MP on one of his many walks along the wall. These MPs support our endeavours to #MakeTheWallPermanent ❤️

This is what the six-year old granddaughter of one of our volunteers drew today as one of her special ‘Memrys’ ❤️

The volunteers will be taking down the 500m of heart shaped fairy lights at #TheNationalCovidMemorialWall on Friday.

They were placed to mark last Sunday’s #NationalDayOfReflection with the minute’s silence for our lost loved ones.
