We had no need for prisons or police. There were no homeless or hungry. We didn’t pay taxes. The women selected our chiefs and deposed the ones who displeased them. It was a beautiful egalitarian, matrilineal hunter/warrior society. So, why did they insist on calling us savages?

1. Stop viewing our kids as numbers

2. Provide actual consequences for students

3. Kids need physical play/exercise

4. Provide more supports for teachers
