The District of Columbia Department of Buildings is conducting building-wide inspections of #3003VanNess . It seems that many apts lack GFCI safety outlets in the kitchen & bath. Equity Residential could have replaced the old outlets for < $10 each. Now it may face a $2,000 fine for every outlet out of code.

I'm extremely disappointed with the failure of DC Department of Buildings District of Columbia Department of Buildings to take seriously my neighbors' safety. This construction site has been left unsecured after hours on a regular basis since at least February. It is a hazard for the many kids in our neighborhood.
