Today at Our Ocean Greece Gitdisdzu Lugyeks (Kitasu Bay) became the first Marine Protected Area in Canada to receive the international Blue Park Award for its conservation of marine biodiversity. Thanks savingoceans for recognizing this work by our Nation.

Our coastal guardian watchmen program is one of the best in Canada. We recently got granted #BCParks authority for enforcing conservation measures—a Canadian first, and a huge step for #reconciliation . Thanks George Heyman and BC for the support.
