Jockey Jon #Court , a winner of more than 4,000 races, said he will retire from race riding after #Sunday 's closing day card at #Oaklawn .

Court, who has several mounts on the card, is a two-time winner of the #Arkansas Derby.

He said he made the announcement Monday night.

The #Arkansas Racing Commission meeting for #Saturday at #Oaklawn has been canceled, according to a notice from the agency. The meet ends Sunday.

#LouisianaDowns opens its meet #Saturday , with the richest race of the season, the $250K Super Derby, to be run at a mile and an eighth Sept. 14.
