A full report on costs not only of the treatment but all surrounding infrastructure, and benefits thereof must be prepared and submitted to HTA bodies - and this can be done in parallel with consultation with the EMA. Talk to your HTA body!

Finally we get some big insights from the EU Medicines Agency , highlighting their requirements: one session? repeated sessions? – how many and with what interval? what dose? How important are the acute effects? What individual differences matter? Preparation of educational materials...

How should we think about other setting factors like music, and group vs individual sessions? What is psychedelic treatment? a medical treatment with psychological support?; a psychotherapy assisted by psychedelic medicine?; or an integrated treatment
modality?

How might different approaches to psychotherapy surrounding the session change clinical outcomes? To date, we have literally no comparative empirical evidence in favour of one support model over another. Should we be diagnosis, drug, or patient centered? How does that manifest?

Can patients be kept on their current treatments, or must we taper? Can we swap to non-serotonergic treatments before administering psychedelics? Might SSRIs even be useful in mitigating anxiety during the drug effects? In short - we need more drug-drug interaction studies.

The expectancy and unblinding issues rage on - we detail some roadmaps for how we think these problems can be worked on.

Which subjective effects correlate with symptom reduction? Should sessions aim to enhance mystical, mood-lifting, or reflective experiences, or another aspect entirely? Should we mix with a benzo or a empathogen as a means to this?

The question that has all the industry on the edge of their seats... does it matter if the trip is 10 minutes long or 12 hours long? Is it the peak or the area under the curve of the drug effects? How does this correlate with long-term benefits?
