Today, the Dallas City Council approved a 15-year agreement for the Dallas Wings to play in Dallas. I am thrilled to finally welcome the Dallas Wings home! Dallas is the place to be right now - for residents, for businesses, and for professional sports teams and their fans.

Today, I had the pleasure of hosting the new Consul General of Japan Zentaro NAGANUMA at City Hall. We had a very productive discussion about strengthening economic trade and cultural ties between Japan and Dallas!

Today marks my 14th consecutive year of holding elected office and representing the amazing people of the great City of Dallas. It has been such an honor and you know what? We ain’t seen our best days yet! 🙌🏾💪🏾🙏🏾

Incredible day witnessing the Total Solar Eclipse at Dallas City Hall!

This week we broke ground on the restoration of the historic Forest Theater! When finished, this theater will bring more arts and job opportunities to South Dallas. Thank you Forest Forward for your incredible work!

Dallas had two exciting groundbreakings today, as we also began construction on our city's first in-ground skate park at Bachman Lake. This project is the next step on our journey toward building the best city park system in the country!

Today, we broke ground on the new $140 million renovation to Cotton Bowl Stadium at Fair Park.

This renovation will modernize the experience for thousands of fans in the years to come. I’m proud to support Fair Park and Dallas’ entire park system.
