Glad to publish this new WP with Victor M. Gómez-Blanco (U. Valencia) on the Great Compression (1940-1950). We study wage inequality trends from 1918 to 1949 and find that the decline in top wage shares partly stems from high-earning workers transitioning to self-employment.

Very happy to see this paper published!

I track the global sanitary revolution since 1850 and show that its unequal spread had long-lasting consequences for countries' urban transition to modern sanitation.

Just online, in open access: 'Inequality in history: A long-run view', in the Journal of Economic Surveys. Covering wealth and income inequality from ca. 1300 until today... but succinctly!
