up at the Houses of the Oireachtas - Tithe an Oireachtais hearing. Though, here we go again - would an ep of FC be written by AI? And the answer doesn’t mention writers at all. (I know they’re representing their members, but that’s why our voice needs to be there)

The “problem” we have is that RTÉ has a remit for drama?! Really? That’s a problem? (The point being made I think is that sports are more commercial than drama, and that commercial wins out for RTÉ but even with that logic 🤷🏻‍♀️)

Back to Fair City, thanks to Fintan Warfield at the Houses of the Oireachtas - Tithe an Oireachtais committee. Asking how many people work on the show, and what happens in the two month shut down the summer. Again, everyone in the team gets a mention except for the writers. Anyone else see a theme here?!

Well at least Senator Marie Sherlock mentions Fair City, although the conversation is only about actors. Houses of the Oireachtas - Tithe an Oireachtais And directors even get a mention. But writers?! Sure who needs them.
