Superb day dragon boat racing against other Northwest CIs, with Lancaster University Confucius Institute (LUCI) and Languages & Cultures at Lancaster University colleagues and students at Liverpool Watersports Centre. We didn't win but we had the loudest supporters. And there is always next year!

As head of the Lancaster Environment Committee I spent a lot of time co-organising Caroline Lucas’s lecture this year with our wonderful Lancaster Litfest partner, and I am very sad I had to miss it! Thankfully, like everyone else I will be able to watch the lecture online - stay tuned!
