Renovation of these houses opposite Riverside seems to have resulted in the destruction of the wildlife habitat that fronted the river. I had previously seen otters and kingfishers in this stretch. This young Fallow Deer was found by a member of the public with her leg stuck in a wire fence! With the help of the Fire Brigade and a few of our brilliant staff and volunteers the Deer was successfully rescued! (1/4)
