Philipp Klahn J Org Chem/Org Lett Xing Bengang_ Research Group @ NTU_SG Schuler Marie There should also be enough time to fix this until the final version of the article is published as this is still the ASAP version of the J Org Chem/Org Lett paper. I definitely share Philipp Klahn's concerns on the way the two papers are cited.
I sincerely hope that J Org Chem/Org Lett will react appropriately. It is a major scandal that the previous work in this field by Philipp Klahn and colleagues has not been cited properly.
Philipp Klahn J Org Chem/Org Lett Xing Bengang_ Research Group @ NTU_SG Schuler Marie Miller Group Steve Ritter Seems that people keep pushing the limits of what is considered appropriate. Not cool.
J Org Chem/Org Lett Xing Bengang_ Research Group @ NTU_SG Schuler Marie I really wonder if the way of citation of earlier work in this article is the proper ethical coduct in scientific publishing? J Org Chem/Org Lett Miller Group Steve Ritter Xing Bengang_ Research Group @ NTU_SG
J Org Chem/Org Lett Xing Bengang_ Research Group @ NTU_SG J Org Chem/Org Lett The concept and design principle of the probes used in this work looks exceptionally close to our work from 2019 (…mistry-europe.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10.10…) and the independently published work of Tatiboet, Sabot and Schuler Marie from 2019 (pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…)

Volatile salinilactones, produced by the bacterium Salinispora, target disulfide-isomerases. See doi.org/10.1002/advs.2… in Advanced Science, by K. Jerye et al. of the Brönstrup Lab. This is one of the first studies describing how bacterial volatiles act.
Thanks for the invitation Janina Bahnemann Lab and Christoph Westerhausen to the CAAPS symposium Universität Augsburg! What a pleasure to give a talk and see the impressive activities at the centers!
