Today in 1865 over 60,000 Clevelanders gathered to say goodbye to President Abraham Lincoln CLE Public Square as a part of a 1,700 Mi rail journey from DC to Springfield IL, his final resting place. The President’s catafalque appears just behind the Perry monument on Public Square

Last October, the first phase of the Cuyahoga Riverfront Master Plan began. “The most immediate thing you’ll see is the improvement on the riverfront area,” Bedrock CEO Kofi Bonner said. “The infrastructure is maybe the least glamorous but also the most important.”

10,000 steelhead trout were released into the Cuyahoga River yesterday 🐟

An additional 50,000 are set to be released within the next 2 weeks, as part of a broader initiative to restock 450,000 trout across North Coast Ohio tributaries.

The river had previously been too dirty…
