.World Health Organization (WHO) and partners went to Khan Younis yesterday to assess the health facilities there. The team described the destruction as 'disproportionate to anything one can imagine'. No building or road is intact, there is only rubble and dirt.

Hostilities in the vicinity of a WHO…

Indiscriminate and targeted killing of civilians. Deliberate mass destruction of infrastructure and public services. Induced famine. None of this is 'normal' warfare against a military force. How could what the Israeli government is doing in #Gaza not be classified as genocide?

Amir, I just wanted to say that I watched your segment on the Lorraine show & some of the concerns you expressed about Wes Streeting's proposals for more private sector involvement in the NHS.
The points you made were absolutely brilliant and completely spot on.

Child deaths in wars:

Iraq: 3,100 in 14 years
Syria: 12,000 in 11 years
Yemen: 3,700 in 7 years
Ukraine: 520 in 21 months

Palestine: ~15,000 in 5 months.

Does the world condemn the killing of children or is it complicated when it is Middle Eastern children?

The money spent is not then invested in the NHS, the private sector do this at a profit & long term capacity is lost form NHS making NHS a more reliant
