In ‘Guilty Pigs’ Jeremy Gans and I discussed the plethora of French cases involving animal noises: crowing cockerels, mooing cows, quacking ducks, croaking frogs, even trilling cicadas. I’m delighted to see the cows have been the subject of legislation.
