Project work on the Minsterley brook today. Catchment has several mines like Snailbeach & Tankerville.
These lead to high zinc in the brook, especially in the upper catchment.
We’ve set up a partnership with the Coal Authority to look at potentially removing metals in the future.

Incredible teamwork yesterday!

#TeamEA & North Somerset Council were hard at work gathering sediment and liquid samples from the surface, middle and depth of #WestonSuperMare 's beach.

We'll use the samples to identify potential sources of #pollution .

#Sampling with the National #Monitoring team this morning on the river Onny in Shropshire. They are testing for a range of variables including heavy metals. Great to see how they do this fantastic work & learn about how the #data is used alongside our hydrometric data. #TeamEA
