A word to the wise for startups trying to “disrupt” healthcare. It’s highly advisable to hire & actually listen to the clinicians on your team. Don’t get cocky & think you know it all. It is not a great idea if you hire them to just keep a seat warm without valuing expertise.

So it looks like most people would rather not have heart attacks and strokes…. You’d think this would be obvious but it’s not apparently.

If you knew you’d live to 100 no matter what, but in one life you don’t have heart attacks and strokes but the other one you do… which would you choose?

No one is born with cardiovascular disease or type 2 diabetes. These arguments have nothing to do with being a disease process.

Just like there are laws that state that physicians can’t own hospitals, there should be a law that states that tech people can’t own digital health care companies 😂
