4th year med students are shadowing 2nd year PA students.

This is logical in the NHS because the med student is 7 years away from working as a GP.

The PA? Less than a year away from working as a GP, basically a GPST3.

There is no ‘backstory’ to ending of 2/care NHS Practitioner Health other than (we’re told) - no budget. To remind, it was established following suicide of a psychiatry who also killed her baby and highlighted the barriers doctors have in accessing mental health care.

GMC You’ve just given yourselves a 14% pay rise. All doctors in the NHS have striked over the last year. Could it possibly, possibly have something to do with the vast pay erosion doctors have experienced, more so than EVERYONE ELSE in the public sector?
