Progress can be messy sometimes.

Asking for a fee for work is not really “collaborative” in my book. That’s just straight business. Like taking your car for an oil change. Problem is, in the creative arts you don’t always know what kind of product you’re going to get for that fee. That’s where I get hung up.

I am all about collaborating, whether that’s mixing, mastering, songwriting, arranging, etc. I think we indie’s and “wannabes” can put out a better product if we team up instead of competing.

One of the key assumptions of the left is that statistical disparities are suspicious, if not sinister, especially if these are differences in income and wealth.

But if people differ radically in performance, why is it surprising that they also differ radically in the rewards…

I have a hard time believing the “Spotify for Artists” app … I check it multiple times a day. The stats the following day do not at all appear to directly reflect my observation from the day prior.

Ok … finally figured out PreSonus’ PreSonus Studio One collaboration feature and I think it would be a game changer for any two Studio One users. Any one person makes any changes to a project, sync it up, and both have all the changes.
