During 29y as #NHS Consultant I saw empathy in Doctors, Nurses, Admin staff being crushed by Target driven culture set by Governments. I saw abuse of staff eg no food during relentless 13hr night shifts. Don't mistreat staff then blame them for lack of empathy. Jo Talbot Bowen

A noteworthy observation! Ppl work with health limiting conditions but they can only sustain this with proper support. Invest in your workforce, you will get it back a thousand times!
