Sam Ghali, M.D. I first witnessed this as a student. A patient told me that she would die soon. She was calm and at peace with it. Within a few hours, she had passed away.
There is so much about life (and death) that we don’t understand. It’s humbling, disconcerting & beautiful- all at once.
What a joy it was to host the wonderful Department of Internal Medicine at Dell Med Women in Medicine group!!
