Those coaches who decide they want to play weak nonleague opponents take away the chance to improve. Look at Centennial. Played the best of the best, struggled and developed into a team 8 seconds away from being in the D1 final. The Matt Logan way.

Final: St. John Bosco 43, Centennial 42. The Huskies recovered an onside kick with 8 seconds to go but could not move the ball from Bosco’s 41-yard line.

Touchdown Cornell Hatcher. Centennial 21, St. John Bosco 14. Every possession the two teams have scored.

This St. John Bosco-Corona Centennial game tonight gets a place somewhere in my top 10 all time. I’ll have to figure out later. 43-42 Bosco.
