Happy SSA conference day. First time in 8 years that I won’t be there but Sarah Anne Galvani is representing at the members symposium talking about our recent Alcohol Change UK project focused on the support needs of South Asian women who use alcohol.
In the first study of its kind, our research has resulted in a new model of support to address the lack of trauma-informed and culturally specific care available for South Asian women with problematic alcohol use.
