Pleased to learn from Severn Trent this morning that yesterday evening’s loss of supply in Craven Arms affected 35 properties from 17.30-19.30 for a planned leakage repair. Have been told all were reconnected last night.

Lose of water supply in Craven Arms area for past two and a half hours is very frustrating for households affected. I am pressing Severn Trent to restore supply as soon as possible. Water company is indicating supply should resume by 9pm, posting updates here: stwater.co.uk/in-my-area/inc…

PM has done the right thing in announcing this significant increase in defence spending to help keep our Armed Forces resilient and resourced during these dangerous times, as I called for directly last week in his statement on Iran and Israel

The plan is working, and we’re turning a corner. Inflation is falling faster than expected, significantly down from its 11% peak.

Really welcome news. Alongside our tax cuts, worth around £900 a year to the average worker, people should start to feel the difference in their pay…

Yesterday, following the Prime Minister’s statement on Iran and Israel, I welcomed the PM’s calling for restraint and de-escalation and asked him for an immediate review of the resources and resilience of the British Armed Forces.

Pleased to see this important plan to protect and restore the River Wye. I hope this Action Plan will not only help clean up the Wye, but will also serve as a trailblazer in new technologies and practices for landowners to protect river health.

Spectalurly good news after some two years of closure, ShropCom's Board today voted to restore inpatient beds at Bishops Castle Community Hospital. Huge effort by ShropCom team, which would not have happened had it not been so well backed by many volunteers in Bishop's Castle.

Conservatives: delivering the largest expansion of childcare in our history with an £8 billion investment.

Labour: cutting funding for childcare in Wales and refusing to back our childcare plan in England.

Only the Conservatives have a plan to support parents with childcare.

Great visit to Ludlow Community Hospital to learn about the care its NHS workers offer to the rural population.

I want staff to have access to the best facilities so they can provide world class care, and we’re investing £4.2 billion into estates over the next financial year.
