5 years ago today with the help of many, I isolated the californium mellitate xmas tree. Still definitely a top 3 crystal I have ever seen especially due to the timing of the year. It alone was so radioactive it damaged the glass slide it was on.

Just a few of the highlights include our #PhD student brewing team winning most efficient brew, Christine Duval starting as Chair for Area 2D, Chris Wirth starting as Chair of Area 1C, and a wonderful Case Alumni Assoc reception! CWRU Engineering National Academy of Engineering

Despite our group’s fun, there was a noticeable difference in conference attendance this year. Looking forward to future meetings in locations where all of our American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) community feels safe and welcomed.
