The Maternal and Perinatal Death Surveillance and Response (MPDSR) Tracker has promoted routine identification and timely notification of maternal deaths. This has led to access to better and timely information for action and monitoring improvements in maternal health.

“Community MPDSR has been a game changer in our health system. Using E4A developed tools, we were able to strengthen maternal and newborn death audits at community level addressing social norms. As a county we are now ready to scale this beyond Mayanja dispensary.” Says Agrippina

“Bungoma has MPDSR at county, sub-county and facility level. The use of the Action Tracker enables us to see actual progress and mobilise resources needed to improve quality of care.”
