Did you know that one of the original 1215 Magna Carta documents was once held at Old Sarum?
See it now on display over at Salisbury Cathedral which moved when the Cathedral moved from Old Sarum to the centre of Salisbury.
The first cathedral at Old Sarum was damaged by storm five days after its completion. When it was demolished 150 years later, many of its stones were reused for the new Salisbury Cathedral
