I had a student from EIP #InstituteForExcellence come up me after the roundtables and ask if I was Cambodian. She was genuinely happy to see someone from the same background. Representation really makes an impact.

Institute for Excellence (IFE) students visited the Northern Virginia Community College Medical Education Campus (NOVAMEC) to get hands-on experience in nursing and EMT career paths and insight on different medical fields including sonography, phlebotomy, and physical therapy.
