Welfare benefits are so strict that they restrict people with mental illness from taking part in health research.

I have to be mindful that offering proper financial compensation for people's time could put them at risk of cuts to the money they need for basic necessities. #PIP

The attacks on people with mental illness coming out of Westminster are so demoralising and wrong. Everyone has value whether or not they are able to earn money right now. You can't make people better by threatening their financial stability.

Yesterday my dog Sonja (little black and white one) did something I've never seen her do before (in 6 years). Naturally I found it hilarious so I'm sharing the joy here. I'm also happy for her as she's discovered a level of play I didn't know she had in her.
